The Mindfulness-Acceptance-Commitment (MAC) approach to sport performance enhancement aims to enhance performance through the promotion of a non-judgmental, present-moment awareness and acceptance of one’s thoughts and emotion as opposed to trying to change them.

The Mindfulness-Acceptance-Commitment approach – which is a comprehensive theory-based programme – consists of a seven module protocol requiring seven consultations.
